This is my story
I’m Ron Gaspardo and sometimes I paint, take photographs, do some graphic design work, and recently I’ve been learning to draw. I’ve had a camera in my hand on and off for the past 37 years, with my first shots being taken with a Polaroid at the age of 5. I’m a self taught(and very much still learning) photographer. I like to point my camera at graffiti, vibrant colors, and interesting shapes both natural and man made.
I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but spent my formative years in Virginia splitting time between the coastal flatlands and beaches of southern Virgina and rivers and hills of the greater seven cities. I also spent 7 years in the Pacific Northwest with my wife prior to moving back to her hometown in NEPA to put down roots. When I am not snapping shots or sitting behind a computer for my day job, I am running The Retro Cafe with my wife and spending time with her and our Great Dane mix Periwinkle.
