Brooke Walker

About the Artist

Brooke Walker is a self-taught photographer from Scranton with over two decades of experience. Their work centers overlooked marvels of nature, finding awe-inspiring beauty in unexpected places. Their photos encourage us to slow down and ground ourselves in the small moments.

Since 2013,  Brooke has embraced these small moments through photographing flowers, as part of a mindfulness practice while healing with Complex PTSD. They utilize these flowers to create meditative, kaleidoscopic collages under the name Brooke Walker Botanicals.

Their work has been featured at Northern Light, Wired & Inspired, Retro Cafe, the University of Scranton, and Known Grove Books, as well as being published in various journals.
