Jesse Clemente is a Scranton, Pennsylvania–based abstract and neo-expressionist artist whose work is rooted in graffiti, street culture, and emotional expression. Working primarily through intuition and spontaneous mark-making, he creates layered, energetic paintings that explore feeling, movement, and personal experience. His work has been exhibited throughout the Northeast, NYC and collected by private collectors across the United States and internationally.

Globe Gallery Presents: Figure Drawing Night

Join us for the debut of Globe Gallery's Figure Drawing Night, an inspiring evening dedicated to creativity, artistic growth, and community.

Artists of all skill levels are invited to sharpen their observational drawing skills with a live figure model in a welcoming and supportive environment. Surrounded by beautiful artwork and fellow creatives, you'll have the opportunity to explore the human form, develop your technique, and connect with other artists through meaningful conversation and shared inspiration.

Please bring your own drawing supplies, as materials will not be provided. We will have table space available along with a limited number of easels on a first-come, first-served basis. Artists are welcome to bring their own easels if preferred.

Admission: $20
Pay at the Door (Cashless Facility)
No registration needed.

This event marks the beginning of what we hope will become a twice-monthly gathering for artists looking to practice, learn, and grow together.

Thank you to everyone who came out for First Friday and helped make the opening of Globe Gallery such an unforgettable night. We were truly overwhelmed by the number of people who walked through our doors to explore the new space and support the local art community.

A special thank you goes to the incredible artists who trusted us, participated in this inaugural exhibition, and believed in our vision from the very beginning. You made this show possible, and we’re honored to share your work with our community.

The energy and conversations throughout the evening confirmed exactly why we wanted to create Globe Gallery. We believe Scranton deserves more spaces dedicated to art, creativity, and community, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating this first step.

If you weren’t able to make the opening, don’t worry! We’re now open during regular gallery hours Wednesday-Saturday 11am-7pm, and this incredible exhibition is still on view through June and July. We can’t wait to welcome you into the space, introduce you to these amazing artists, and continue building something special together.
